The North America Country Music Associations, Int'l ® (NACMAI) was formed May 17, 1997, by Peggy Franck, "to promote the development of the Country/Gospel Music Industry in each state and country through an International Association to promote and inform members of the industry and the public about resources available in the various states and countries for Country / Gospel Music production." This can be accomplished by bringing together the various State / International Country Music Associations and/or Foundations in an organized method.

The discovery of, showcasing, and promotion of the emerging and aspiring Country / Gospel Music artists who otherwise would never have a chance to perform before State and International Country Music Industry personnel. Always foster new Country / Gospel Music talent.

Each state/country is required to hold State / Country wide awards shows for these aspiring artists with the understanding that the winners of the various categories will be able to compete in the regional runoffs, with the winners going to the International Finals.

All newly organized and functioning as such associations, and those which may form in the near future, are eligible to join.

Each state/country association has full autonomy. They are joined, in a consecrated international effort, to discover, develop, and showcase the aspiring country / gospel artists, songwriters, and industry leaders.

International conventions will be held for the purpose enacting by-laws, electing officers, and setting goals for our purpose of being a International Country Music Association.
